Damien Beard | Director

Damien is a knowledgeable and effective leader and people manager, with over 18 years’ experience in government. Damien has expertise in projects, programs, procurement and contracting and a strong track record in leading portfolio, business planning, risk and change management activities at the Executive and Acting Senior Executive levels.

Damien has qualifications in project management (Prince2), Government Procurement and Contracting, telecommunications, and leadership & management. These competencies are underpinned by a sound knowledge of government and stakeholder priorities, with expertise at designing and implementing solutions to stakeholder issues to achieve high quality business outcomes, including through times of significant change.

In addition to his strong technical competencies, Damien is a skilled relationship manager and communicator who is comfortable working across all business levels. Written and oral communication are among Damien’s strengths. Damien takes pride in his ability to establish and mediate effective relationships, manage stakeholders’ expectations and facilitate discussions across high risk, complex issues and under constrained timescales.
